Pink and Blue Blanket

Finished Pink Blanket


Ok.. I have to admit. I finished the pink blanket long time ago. I have been lazy about posting. Since then I took on another project that I had on the side. A blue blanket :). My brother and sister in law are expecting their second child. They still don't know if the baby is going to be a boy or a girl. So I decided to knit a blue blanket and a pink one. Here are some pictures of the blankets.
The pink blanket is 55in long and 35 1/2 in wide. I'm thinking about selling it but I'm not sure how much to ask for.





Here is a picture of the Blue Blanket :) This is what I have so far. I'm making it BIG :) I'll try to post a picture of what I have each month :)

Pink Blanket

This is just an update on the pink blanket. I haven't got the time to knit lately. I only knitted on Thursday while the girls where in Kumon. Hopefully I will get the time to knit some more soon. :)

Pink Blanket

I started a pink blanket last year. Just because. I had no particular reason. I had some pink yarn and I wanted to do a blanket. The Yarn is not as soft as the yarn that I regularly use for a baby blanket but its nice. I stop knitting when I found out that I was going to be an auntie again. Since I started knitting a big baby blanket for my new niece :) ... After that, I completely forgot about the pink blanket. I found it between my yarn the other day. (about 2 weeks ago) so I decided to retake it and finished it this time. This is a picture of what it looks like so far :-) I'm thinking that it will be finished soon.

Finished Orange Doily

I didn't crochet for two days. Today I finally took my crochet back. I was crocheting for about an hour. It's finished. I didn't follow the same ending as in the book. I decided to finish it different because I was running out of thread :) Oops. Anyways, Here it is the picture of the final product.

Hello,

This is the first time I write a blog. I started crocheting a doily following a pattern in a book. I've been taking pictures of the work at the end of the day.

Day 1 : I only crocheted for 1/2 hr. This is what I got done.


Day 2: I haven't got much time to crochet lately. I only crocheted for about 2 hrs. On and off. This is what I had at the end of the second day.














Day 3: I crocheted today for about 1hr. more or less. Two pics of the doily this time. just to show the detail on it. :)
